NON-PRESSURE SPIGOT PIPE (TS TYPE)

  • Product Options:

    Our products are equipped with high-strength rubber O-rings from German companies CORDES GmbH and Dichtungstechnik GmbH (DS), which officially guarantee the service life of their products for 80 to 100 years. These O-rings have significant advantages in ensuring the tightness of the pipeline in the butt joints.

  • Application:

    Reinforced concrete pipes are used in the construction of embankments, dams, highways, railroad tracks. They are used in civil and industrial engineering, when laying water supply and sanitation systems (sewerage, wastewater, stormwater, sanitary wastewater, amelioration), in the construction of hydraulic structures and for pumping liquids under pressure and by gravity.

  • For your information:

    According to GOST, in territories with seismicity of 7 and 8 points, only pipes joined using rubber O-rings can be used. Sapa Su pipes are equipped with rubber O-rings and, thanks to an increase in pipe wall thickness of up to 50 mm, they withstand seismicity of up to 9 points.

The tile under the non-pressure pipe is an idea of Sapa Su LLP; it is used in water-saturated soils as foundation support and is placed under the body of a non-pressure pipe. It is made of heavy weight concrete B30 (M400), with water-resistance of W6, frost-resistance of F300, seismic resistance of 9 points.


Advantages of using the reinforced-concrete non-pressure spigot pipes:

Non-pressure reinforced concrete spigot pipes with round openings are made of heavy weight concrete and are designed for laying underground pipelines that by gravity transport wastewater and household fluids, as well as industrial fluids and groundwater, non-aggressive to reinforced concrete.

TS is the type of bell-mouthed cylindrical pipes with butting stepped surfaces of spigot pipe end, as well as a butt joint sealed with rubber O-rings.

Reinforced-concrete non-pressure pipes of TS type are produced in accordance with applicable GOST 6482-2011, series 3.820-7

Such reinforced-concrete pipes are divided into five categories by bearing capacity:

1st: if calculated soil backfill height is 2 metres;

2nd: if calculated soil backfill height is 4 metres;

3rd: if calculated soil backfill height is 6 metres;

4th: if calculated soil backfill height is 8 metres;

5th: if calculated soil backfill height is 10 metres;
